Celebrate the holidays and recapture the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas with the annual staging of this timeless Dickens classic. Once again, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit and, of course, Ebenezer Scrooge himself bring 19th-century London to life in Springfield's favorite Christmas tradition.

Featuring the multi-talented Nikki Calloway, Ryan Thomas King, Tina Sibley, Shawn Teague and Ned Wilkinson

Combine a contemporary single guy who's had enough of holiday cheer on New Year's Eve and a continent away-and more than a century earlier-Hans Christian Andersen's Little Match Girl trying to sell her matches in the snow...brought together with a tuneful pop/rock/jazz score by the band GrooveLily. This rewired spin on the holiday musical will be brought to the Vandivort after a celebrated run last season at Vandivort 2nd Stage. Nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical in 2007. Tickets go on sale November 17.

Reserved Seat Tickets: Opening Night, Dec. 11, all seats $15. The following performances: $20 Adult, $17 Senior (55 and over) & Student, $10 Children 12 and under. Military and School Faculty members half price on Wednesday. All prices include 7.1% sales tax.

Did you know that we send extra tickets over to the D-TIX counter, located in Coffee Ethic, downtown, on the south side of the square? These ticket may be purchased for 1/2 price plus a $1 service fee on the day of performance. This service is provided by Springfield Theatre Alliance, Downtown Springfield Association with the cooperation of Coffee Ethic. Tickets are available at 12 noon, day of performance only. If you don't see tickets for one of our productions, check out all the other attractions for that evening. Walk-up customers only. No phone sales. No advance reservations.
